First as housemates in college in the Oakland hills in the late 70’s, we became friends over many a bottle and discovered that our wine interests were more than casual. “Our goal is to make balanced and yet concentrated wines that display the fruit and the character of the vintage and region. From our full-bodied intense Cabernet Sauvignon to our softer Bordeaux blend Mosaique, our wines are meant to be a part of food, to be enjoyed with your loved ones frequently. “Our production is extremely limited, usually each batch consisting of no more than a few hundred cases. Our wines are truly handcrafted and we hope that our passion shows through in our wines.”

"Decanting allows the secondary aromatic notes to emerge, including cassis, blackberry, and an intriguing, cabernet-like aroma of tobacco leaf. Soft but firm acidity and integrated oak frame a palate redolent of summer berries and sweet peppers." Decant this wine 1 hour. We agree with Don's and Gary's comments about this wine -- couldn't have said it better if we tried, so we didn't.
Surh Luchtel Napa Sacrashe Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 $59.99 Only 160 cases made. Velvety on the palate with black berry, black cherry and notes of kirsch. This wine will age, but if you taste it now you might not let it age -- it's delicious! Please decant an hour to release the aromas and flavors.
Surh Luchtel Napa Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 $65.00 One big, rich, mouthcoating wine that you can age at least until 2015. Flavor profile includes blackberry, cassis, anise accents, and wisp of tobacco. It's a Wow! wine. Please decant 1 - 2 hours -- it will reward you.
