Kathy Wiley began Poco Dolce (literally translated from Italian as "not too sweet"), in 2002 as a baking company specializing in regional Italian breads and pastries. Within a year, she discovered a passion for creating hand-made chocolates on the "savory side of sweet" by sprinkling just a bit of Grey Sea Salt over some bittersweet chocolate. Poco Dolce's Tiles were born.
Created in our San Francisco kitchen in small batches, Poco Dolce's chocolates use only the finest, all-natural ingredients - from local almonds and pumpkin seeds to Grey Sea Salt harvested from the coast of Brittany. Our products have been featured in magazines, such as Bon Appetit, Saveur, and Gourmet and named as a finalist for Outstanding Chocolate by the National Association for Specialty Food Trade for three years running.
