The flavors follow through spreading elegance across your palate and finishing smoothly and long. Solen 200421.99 Old vine Carignan and Grenache. The Solen has a silky texture, with supple, elegant character in a rounder style. This wine sees no wood. The old vine Carignan lends to the wine’s depth and its hints of spice with ripe, juicy raspberries. The Grenache brings the elegance and the result is a lovely wine with a nice, long finish. Les Aurelles 200131.99 Elegantly ripe dark fruits with suppleness and good structure. This wine is drinking beautifully now.Decant 1 hour before serving. Domaine de Cristia 2005 Chateauneuf-du-Pape (Rouge) Southern Rhone/France 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre A full-bodied with with spiciness and subtle tannins. Reminiscent of dark fruit with currant notes, this wine has a hint of fresh roasted coffee on the finish. $39.99 nearly gone -- just a few bottles.
