Zeto Hosts "Icons of the Andes" on May 21st
On May 21st, Zetowine, cheese & gift shop will host six winery officials from Argentina and Chile for a tasting of nearly 30 wines as part of the "Icons of the Andes" tour.The wineries featured on this tour include:Achaval Ferrer, Bodega Kaiken, Bodega Norton, Pascual Toso, Vina Montes and Vina Santa Ema.Wines in the tasting range from everyday-wines to premium-wines. This rare opportunity offers wine lovers a chance to meet and talk with the professionals from the wineries while tasting an outstanding range of white, rose' and red wines.
Patricia Lambert, Estate Manager/Winemaking Team for Achaval Ferrer, will pour tastes of Achaval Ferrer's stellar wines including the Finca Mirador.Vanina Isura, part of the winemaking team and Foreign Trade Office Manager for Bodega Kaiken, will serve wines including the Ultra Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dennis Murray, Marketing and Export Manager for Viña Montes, will sample the popular wines of Vina Montes.Murrayisthe oldest son of Douglas Murray, the founder of Montes and the guardian of the spirit.José Manuel Castro, Exports Director of Viña Santa Ema and part of its winemaking team,will show Amplus Carignan, "Catalina" and other fine selections.Representing Bodega Norton, with its history dating to the late 1890's and the building of the Buenos Aires to Mendoza railway, will be Eduardo Swinnen, International Manager. He brings a range of tasting from Torrontes and Consecha Tardia to Malbec Reserva and the Privada, whichwas originally reserved for the owners, the Swarovski family's, use.
At the time of this press release, Cecilia Flores of the Pascual Toso winery's winemaking team and export manager, is expected to participate in the Icons of the Andes evening at Zeto and will show nearly half a dozen exciting wines.

Yummy, just down right yummy! Juicy cherries and strawberries wash across the palate with a bare note of spice that brightens it and all of that just tasts yummy. So, I had bought fresh snow peas and decided to cook them. I sauteed them with fresh onions and, heck there was a celery stalk in the refrig so I chopped it and tossed it into the sautee, and amazing!
