These white wines and more are in stock at Zeto.

 Neudorf Moutere Riesling 2010  -  Nelson/New Zealand      Wine Advocate  #197    91

“The 2010 Moutere Riesling is intensely scented of lime cordial, mandarin peel and passion fruit with hints of jasmine, peach blossoms and clover honey. The palate offers a medium-sweet, light bodied style with well-balanced very crisp acid and concentrated citrus and tropical flavors, finishing very long. Approachable now, it should be drinking at its finest from 2013 to 2018+.” Reviewer: Lisa Perrotti-Brown                                                                                  $22.99

Inama Vin Soave - Soave Classico 2010      Veneto/ Italy     Grape:  100% Garganega    Stainless steel fermented

 Tanzer’s Int’l. Wine Cellar  Sep/Oct ‘11 Reviewer: Ian D'Agata

“Bright straw-green. Floral, high-pitched aromas of stone fruits and fresh herbs on the clean, enticing nose. Shows very good balance and energy to its flavors of lemon icing, green apple, pear and herbs. Richer on the palate than I expected, with lovely concentration and length; this is a very serious entry-level Soave and one of the best versions from Inama in years. Very well done.”                                                                                             $16.99

Willm Vin D’Alsace Reserve Riesling 2009              Alsace/France

From the winery:  “The Willm vineyard, combining Grand Cru Kirchberg de Barr and the well-known Clos Gaensbroennel, was planted in Barr in 1896. . .Rieslings fromAlsace are completely dry yet retain the appealing flowery fragrance of this grape variety. Riesling Willm is well suited to fish dishes, lobster, oysters”

Zeto:  Pour and smell the floral notes with droplets of citrus. Taste this medium-bodied Riesling and the citrus undertones come through on the ripe stone fruit and honeysuckle flavors all balanced with just the right amount of minerality to make this a zesty, juicy wine.  Enjoy with light appetizers, fish and seafood pasta with cream sauce.                        $14.99

Bisci Verdicchio di Matelica 2010       Verdicchio di Matelica/Marches/Italy     Grape:  Verdicchio

“The 2010 Verdicchio di Matelica is a glorious wine. Round, sweet and harmonious, this entry-level Verdicchio impresses for its overall balance. This is a stunning bottle of wine for the money. Crisp green apples, flowers and minerals linger on the elegant finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017.”   Wine Advocate  6/11 Reviewer: Antonio Galloni

Zeto: This delicious wine greets you with its pale, straw-yellow tones accented by hints of green glimmers.  With aromas of freshly sliced green apples and wisps of white flowers, it’s alluring.  The focused flavors and nice acidity present a balanced wine with freshness that delivers tasty white fruit nuances.   Pairs well with seafood and cheeses.                          $18.99

Felino Vino Cobos Chardonnay 2010      Mendoza/Argentina    Wine Advocate  #198 Reviewer: Jay Miller 91

“The 2010 Felino Chardonnay was native yeast fermented with the wine going through full malolactic fermentation. It offers up a lovely bouquet of melon, spiced apple, and floral notes setting the stage for a smooth-textured, flavorful, well-balanced wine that will provide enjoyment for another 3-4 years. It is an outstanding value.

”Vina Cobos is a partnership between Paul Hobbs, Andrea Marchiori, and Luis Barraud. The new releases are further confirmation that Vina Cobos is one ofArgentina’s great producers. The Felino label has for a number of years been synonymous with value.”                                                                                                                $18.99

Merryvale Starmont Sauvignon Blanc 2010          Napa Valley/CA

Grapes:  80% Sauvignon Blanc (3% Sauvignon Musque Clone), 20% Semillon.   No malolactic fermentation

Winemaker’s Notes:  “Our Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from several distinct growing regions within the Napa Valley, including Oak Knoll, Rutherford, and Oakville, each contributing a different expression of the varietal. This wine was fermented in a combination of French oak (60% of the blend; only 2% new) and stainless steel tanks (40%). Our intent is to preserve and enhance the varietal nuances and texture complexity.

””Pungent aromas of Meyer lemon, key lime leaf, grapefruit, guava, passionfruit and a hint of herbaceousness all jump out of the glass. The round and honeyed mid-palate, along with the refreshing acidity provides for a rich yet balanced mouthfeel and a surprisingly long finish.”

Wine Spectator   8/31/2011  Reviewer: MaryAnn Worobiec:    “Exceedingly juicy, showing a lip-smacking acidity that nicely frames the flavors of Meyer lemon, green apple, melon and peach. This smooth-bodied white gains momentum on the finish. Drink now.”                                                                                                                                            $16.99

Domaine des Cassagnoles 2010       Cotes de Gascogne         France

“The 2010 Cotes de Gascogne, a blend of 50% Colombard, 40% Ugni Blanc and 10% Gros Manseng, reveals fresh lime, grapefruit and other citrus notes offered in a light-bodied, fresh, zesty style. An ideal quaffing aperitif white that works with an assortment of foods, it is easy to understand and consume. Drink it over the next 6-12 months.

”Cotes de Gascogne is a treasure-trove for inexpensive, stainless steel-fermented and aged, dry whites that sell for a song.”  Wine Advocate  #196  Reviewer: Robert Parker                                                                         $9.99

Produccions A Modino San Clodio 2008         Ribeiro/Spain

 Grapes:  67% Treixadura, 15% Godello, 12% Torrontes, 5% Loureira, 1% Albarino

International Wine Cellar  Oct/Nov 09  Reviewer:  Josh Raynolds   90

“Light yellow. Exotic aromas of orange zest, floral honey, chamomile and minerals, plus a whiff of pungent herbs. Fleshy and smooth, offering gently sweet citrus and orchard fruit flavors and good mineral cut. Suavely blends energy and richness, and finishes with very good lift and precision.”

Zeto:  Loaded with white and yellow fruit flavors, nice acidity to balance, a delightful floral note in this easy sipping medium body white.  Drinking San Clodio in the cold of winter reminds us there’s a warm, sun-drenched beach somewhere!             We understand that only 500 cases were imported into the US.                                                                  $17.99

Get to know J. Christopher wines and Jay Somers (winemaker, owner). This is the great Oregon winery that's just now being found by the press.

Zeto has sold these wines for quite a number of years.  Remember, Jay doesn't make thousands of cases of his wines.  Each one is hand crafted from wine grapes that have been lovingly tended.

Let's have Jay tell you a little more in this short video.
