The Zeto gals enjoyed eating here 8 days after its opening! Terrific menu and excellent, focused wine list.
It's said that the interior decor is the result of Gabe's treks to fairs and market places throughout the country -- antiques and "thingys" he's liked and brought back to NY. The restaurant is named after his grandfathers.
Give this restaurant a try. Tell them the gals from Zeto sent you. No, we get nothing out of recommending Gabe's restaurant except the pleasure of sharing a wonderful new restaurant find filled with an attentive staff of very nice people who simply want to serve great tasting, high quality, fresh food at reasonable prices.

We just saw that Gabriel missed being hit by a car that crashed into Joseph Leonard restaurant on Aug. 21st. Most fortunate that he had finished moving a flower pot in front just minutes before the car hit the restaurant and kept rolling down the street finally stopping in front of a Chinese massage parlor! Gabriel, we're glad that you're fine and that no one was hurt during this freak accident.
